2. General Position Summary
Based in Ghizer, the Log Officer works under the direct administrative supervision of Project Manager and technical supervision of the Base Logistics Officer KP. He/she is responsible for logistic and security Excellence. Moreover, ensuring the accuracy and secrecy of information
In addition, s/he may be called upon to carry out surveys, participatory needs assessments or any other activity that may be deemed necessary.
3. Essential Job Function
Logistic & Procurement
- Assist to manage the chain of supplies
- Assist to procure of goods/ services as per SIF policies and procedures
- Assist for timely delivery of item to the requester.
- Receive the supplies ordered and keep their follow up to date.
- Ensure that all purchase procedures are followed and any discrepancies to be report to the concerns.
- To keep record and maintain list of supplies and local maintenance.
- Follow the management of stock.
- Supervise the allocation and use of equipment and inventory.
Fleet Management
- Supervise the management of pool of the vehicle.
- Supervise, monitor and train the drivers.
- Monitor regular consumption of vehicles.
Security Management
- Reporting of security incident as & when needed.
- Sharing Security update with Staff about area of working
- Sharing of Weekly & Monthly Security updates with Log Manager
- Ensure that watchman's are aware of all safety and security regulations
- Elaborate security plans for office and ensure their implementation
- Ensure the security of movement for each field visit

4. REQUIREMENTS |

Education: |
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree. |

Experience: |
3 to 5 years of experience in a procurement, fleet and premises management.

Languages: |
Fluency in the English Urdu and local language.
|

Knowledge: Experience in writing good quality report. Knowledge and experience in providing presentations and written reports
