Job Summary: The Ward Orderly supports the nursing staff and ensures smooth day-to-day operations in the ward by assisting with patient care, maintaining cleanliness, and handling logistical tasks.

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Ward Orderly based at RHC Shagram, Upper-Chitral in Chitral Region. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist nurses and medical staff in patient care, including transporting patients, helping with mobility, and positioning patients for procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the ward, including bed linen, floors, and medical equipment.
• Ensure timely supply and distribution of medications, meals, and other necessary items.
• Assist in handling patient records, reports, and documentation as required.
• Support emergency situations by quickly providing assistance to staff and patients.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Middle/Matric education.
• Minimum 1–2 years, experience in hospital ward or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to handle patients with care and empathy.
• Physically fit for ward duties and patient handling.
• Team player with attention to hygiene and safety protocols.
• Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus.
• Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information.
• Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change.
• Shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods.
